A story about a love between an exalted princess and an ordinary reporter.
Proncess Ann was a very beautiful girl, she was the only heiress to the throne. This time, her task was to travel around Europe so as to fasten the relationship between the European coutries and her own country. She was tired of this trip very much because of the endless interview with dignitaries from many countries. One night, she felt that she was nearly to be mad so she escaped from the house she was living in.She was so happy and excited. She was drunk and lying on the street.A reporter named Bradley found her.For the best,he took her to his home.On the next day, Bradley found out from the newspaper that the princess was suddenly ill and,to his surprise, the girl he had taken back home looked the same as the princess.Immediately,he realised the truth. He wanted to make some money by reporting the naughty princess. He called a friend who was a cameraman and told him the whole thing. So the two guys with the princess traveled around in the city of Rome.During the trip in Rome, there were many interesting things happening.Gradually,Bradley fell in love with the Princess Ann.But the princess was always the princess when the reporter was always the reporter.Although they loved each other that deeply, they had to separate finally.Bradley and his friend threw away their initial idea that to make money by making use of the princess as well because they thought that might harm the lovely princess..
In the life of reality, the actress of Princess Ann, Audrey Hepburn, also fell in love with the actor of Bradley,Gregory Peck. One was looked upon as the most beautyful woman at that time, the other was looked upon as the most handsome man at that time.Their love was always related to the love of the princess and the prince by the people. However, just like the story in the film,Hepburn and Peck did not get married but they separated in the end, which made the world disappointed. What made all of us more sorry was that they still loved each other deeply, and at the funeral of Hepburn many years later,Peck, who was an old man then, came up to the Hepburn’s body, whispering that she was the woman he loved most forever.
The love in both the film and the real life of them was tragedy. As the saying goes, the tragedy always moves the people better than the comedy does. That’s why the film with Hepburn and Peck is always memorised by many people I think.
